In your Locify Business account, you will now have the ability to update your details and choose if you want to be seen as "Trading" or "Not Trading" in Locify - this simply means that you can toggle between being visible (members can Check In) and not visible (members can't Check In).
This feature is great for "roaming" businesses such as food trucks, and allows location addresses to be updated on-the-go.
WHAT'S PART OF THIS FEATURE?
- Account - You can update your Business Name, Industry Vertical and Business Logo.
- Trading - The toggle for "Trading" and "Not Trading" is displayed at the top of your screen.
HOW DOES "TRADING" WORK?
If your business is set to "Not Trading", members will not be able to Check In to earn and redeem points.
If your business is set to "Trading", members will be able to Check In to earn and redeem points.
WHEN WOULD I USE TRADING?
If you don't want members to Check In when you store is inactive for any reason (e.g. your business is closed on Mondays, your business does not open until the afternoon), you simply need to set your status to "Not Trading".
WHAT ARE THE DEFAULT SETTINGS?
All existing Locify businesses will be set to "Trading" by default, it is up to you to decide if you'd like to use the "Not Trading" option.
All businesses who join Locify after June 8th 2019 will be set to "Not Trading" by default, it is up to you to switch it to the "Trading" option once you're ready to go live to members.
HOW DO I UPDATE MY LOCATION ADDRESS?
In the app, start by tapping on the address button.
Then, type the address you'd like to update your location to. Press "OK" to save your changes.
